Bestemming
Boeda en Pest; twee steden gescheiden, maar ook verbonden door de machtige (niet meer zo blauwe) Donau. Boedapest is een moderne stad met een onmiskenbare traditionele charme. De Donau snijdt de stad in twee delen: het heuvelachtige Boeda, met haar vele burchten, en het drukke vlakke Pest, het winkel- en zakencentrum van de stad. Eén van de mooist denkbare panorama’s aanschouwt u vanaf de Paleisberg : één blik op de Kettingbrug en de Parlementsgebouwen zal u voor altijd bijblijven.

Mooie uitzichten over de stad bieden ook de Burchtwijk en de Gellértheuvel met zijn imposante citadel. Het autovrije Margaretha-eiland ligt als een drijvend park in de Donau en is ook een bezoek meer dan waard. Wereldberoemd zijn de thermaalbaden, net als de honderden typische koffiehuizen. Een sfeervol onderkomen, waar vooral de oudere inwoners van Boedapest hun koffie komen drinken. Of een goed glas Palenka, gestookt van pruimen, abrikozen of andere vruchten.

Naast de vele traditionele elementen, kent de stad een bruisend nachtleven, met trendy discotheken en een rijk aanbod aan theater- en operavoorstellingen. En natuurlijk toprestaurants, waar je volop kunt genieten van echte Hongaarse wijnen en de wereldberoemde Goulash.
De beste tip: Boeda is voor de middag, voor de cultuur en de oude gebouwen. Pest is voor de avond voor de bars, cafés en de clubs.

Het in 2020 vernieuwde 4-sterren Impulso Fashion Hotel is centraal gelegen in Boedapest, op slechts 170 meter van de dichtstbijzijnde metrohalte op lijn M4, en op 500m van lijn M2 en non-stop tramlijn 6.
Het hotel beschikt over een lobby-lounge, 24-uurs receptie, lift, bar, ontbijtrestaurant en er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar in alle ruimtes. Alle kamers bieden badkamer, toilet, bureau, tv, airconditioning, zitje en een kluisje.

4 day trip Budapest

Destination
Buda and Pest; two cities separated, but also connected by the mighty (not so blue anymore) Danube. Budapest is a modern city with an unmistakable traditional charm. The Danube cuts the city in two: the hilly Buda, with its many castles, and the busy flat Pest, the shopping and business center of the city. One of the most beautiful panoramas imaginable can be seen from the Palace Hill: one view of the Chain Bridge and the Parliament buildings will stay with you forever.

The Castle District and the Gellért Hill with its impressive citadel also offer beautiful views of the city. The car-free Margaret Island lies like a floating park in the Danube and is also more than worth a visit. The thermal baths are world famous, as are the hundreds of typical coffee houses. An atmospheric accommodation, where mainly the older residents of Budapest come to drink their coffee. Or a good glass of Palenka, distilled from plums, apricots or other fruits.

In addition to the many traditional elements, the city has a vibrant nightlife, with trendy discos and a wide range of theatre and opera performances. And of course top restaurants, where you can fully enjoy real Hungarian wines and the world-famous Goulash.
The best tip: Buda is for the afternoon, for the culture and the old buildings. Pest is for the evening for the bars, cafés and clubs.

The 4-star Impulso Fashion Hotel, renovated in 2020, is centrally located in Budapest, just 170 metres from the nearest metro stop on line M4, and 500m from line M2 and non-stop tram line 6.
